my new site design… i love lookin at it! lol! hopefully before the weekend is said and done my site will be finished…. it’s obviously not yet
bacon cheese dogs for dinner… a kid favorite (a mommy favorite too) and so easy to make, ESPECIALLY since oscar mayer started putting out cheese dogs. i used to actually slice them down the middle and then stuff them with some cheddar. now i just wrap and broil
so yummy!
this cat is obsessed with paper… it drives me mad, because i always have a stack going so he comes down off the back of the chair, to the arm of the chair, crosses over to the desk, then sits on my mouse so he can rub his face all over the edges of the papers. it’s a wonder he doesn’t get a face full of papercuts
one of my most favorite things in the whole wide world… cheese dip (aka velveeta and rotel) and french fries – YUMMY!
caroline sleeps with a gazillion stuffed animals every night (because “they’re comfy”). it amazes me she has any room on the bed for herself each night – and it’s a queen sized bed. so that gives you an idea of how many she sleeps with, LOL! this dragon came out of seemingly nowhere…
i asked here where she got it and she said “Ian gave it to me”. how sweet of him! esp knowing how into dragons she is
we just recently found out about Ian (around valentine’s day) and the fact that they like each other. it’s so funny, tho, because he is the son of her 4th grade teacher… and little brother of Silly Bean Scraps, who at one time was designing at Inspiration-Lane. small world, eh?
the kids brought home their science fair project this afternoon. neither had the presence of mind to call me to pick them up from school, so it took caroline a good 5 minutes to get off the bus with all her plants.
duh.
some of them have grown big time! this is the moonflower popping out of the bottle…
they’re all sitting in the window now where the morning sun will hit them. she’s wanting to see if any of them flower
tonight was the annual science fair viewing, so we went – even nick went! in the three years we’ve been here, nick’s only been to the school twice now – once for the science fair, and once to go to “movie night” for the Performing Arts Club (which Caroline was in this year) last month.
there were some pretty amazing projects this year – everything from electricity generated by potatoes to things set on fire to see how environmentally unsafe they were.
JD got an A for his penny project and Caroline got a B+ for her plants… some of which are now growing out of the bottles … and both of them got participation ribbons
want some cheese kitty kitty?
i’ve found that he doesn’t want anything he can’t chew… unless it’s his food or his treats. he just wants to lick it.
